Brenda Novella Ragazzini

Hello! I’m Brenda, an UX/UI designer!
In early 2024, while searching for new job opportunities, I discovered the world of UX design.
Curious about this acronym and fascinated by the connection to design, I decided to explore further.
I quickly became passionate about it and started studying!!! Initially, through books, and later by completing the Google UX Design Certificate.
With a background in Art History and Media Studies, I immediately recognized the connections with UX: understanding how people perceive and interact with design, the importance of visual structure, and using aesthetics to enhance user experience.
This allowed me to apply my previous studies effectively within user-centered design.
Additionally, I worked as a music teacher for several years in Rome, both in schools and privately. Teaching helped me develop strong listening skills and work in teams with other teachers, organizing performances and solving complex problems.
These experiences were crucial for my growth in UX, where collaboration and problem-solving are essential.
As a performer and singer, I’ve developed a strong ability to interact with people, understanding not only their emotions but also their psychological needs.
This has made me particularly skilled at empathy, a crucial aspect of design, enabling me to create experiences that cater to the diverse needs and preferences of a wide audience.

What about music..

I started writing songs when I was 16, and I had a rock band called Kuva, though it eventually disbanded over the years.
I continued on my own as a singer-songwriter, writing songs in both English and Italian.
I want to share with you some of the most significant moments from my journey, including a couple of truly unusual performances I did on Got Talent, both in Italy and Spain.

Other Passions

So, so
Besides art, I have quite a few other passions!
First up is astrophysics!
Yes, I know, it might seem a bit odd that an artist is also passionate about science, but I find math relaxing.
And the mysteries of the Universe are so fascinating that you can't stay indifferent!
That’s why I also studied physics at the University of Rome for two years!
Another passion, perhaps inherited from my parents, is medicine!
I’m terribly fascinated by everything related to the human body, like how surgeries are performed, the functioning of organs...
Yes, in a way, I’m a would-be doctor.
